Bihar's 15 districts are battling a terrible flood these days. About 10 million people have been affected by this disaster. They have to take shelter in other places. The flood has so far taken the lives of 120 people in Bihar.
A video of a horrifying thriller was reported from the flood affected district Araria on Thursday (August 17th). In the video, a bridge over a river collapsed in the flood, including a woman flooded with her two children. After this video with devastation, a photo is being viral on social media only by Arriya, who has raised everyone's hair. According to the photograph, the corpses are being thrown into the river from Miraganj bridge of Araria. After photo being viral, Araria's District Magistrate Himanshu Sharma has ordered an inquiry.
According to Aaj Tak, Mirganj Police had thrown these six corpses on Tuesday from the bridge. Earlier it was reported that the corpses have not been identified, the administration is pressing into the soil. Being viral of this video and photo is a hoax in the state.
More than 20 people have died due to floods in Araria. According to the police, there were 15 bodies flowing in the flood last Saturday, 13 of which were identified, while two corpses could not be identified. According to the police, five bodies had flown away from Nepal, about which Nepal Police had also contacted.
According to the Bihar State Disaster Management, till now nearly four lakh people have been sheltered in other places, while about 2.15 lakh people have been transported to 500 relief camps. State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is continuously conducting aerial surveys. On behalf of the Center, several teams of NDRF have been sent to the affected areas of the state.
Significantly, the floods in 9 states of India are underway. According to National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF), about 113 teams were deployed for relief and rescue work in disaster prone areas of Bihar, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Tripura, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat.
