India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday that India is still firm on the policy of 'no first use' of nuclear weapons but 'what happens in the future depends on the circumstances'.
Rajnath Singh, who reached Pokhran for the fifth International Army Scout Masters Competition, said this to reporters. Along with this, Rajnath Singh also made many tweets.
He wrote in the tweet, "Pokhran is the place that witnessed Atal ji's determination to become a nuclear power and we are still committed to the principle of 'not used first'. India strictly abides by this principle. What happens in the future depends on the circumstances.
Simultaneously, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted about this. He wrote, "Today Pokharan Gaya and paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India and one of the stalwarts of independent India, on his birth anniversary."
Apart from this, Rajnath Singh tweeted that India holds the status of a responsible nuclear nation which is a matter of national pride for every citizen of India. The nation will be indebted to the greatness of Atal ji. ''
After the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan continues to attack India. It has raised the issue internationally and has asked the United Nations to intervene in the matter.
Earlier in July, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said that if India gives up nuclear weapons, then their country is also ready to leave it. Imran Khan said this on the US tour.
During the tour, he said that nuclear war is not an option. During this time, Imran Khan also admitted that after the Balakot Airstrike there is tension on the borders of the two countries.
