Trump’s historic visit to Qatar strengthens ties with multi-billion dollar deals

Qatar and the United States have signed a series of multi-billion dollar deals, deepening cooperation in trade and defence. On the second day of his Middle East tour, US President Donald Trump was welcomed by the Emir of Qatar in Doha. It marks the first official visit to Qatar by a sitting US president. The agreements are seen as a major step in strengthening strategic relations between the two countries.
