Several important decisions were taken during the meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong on Tuesday. One of them was the US consent to not conducting military exercises in the Korean Peninsula. Trump said that he is stopping military exercises in the Korean Peninsula and hopes that Kim Jong, the North Korean leader, will soon eliminate nuclear weapons.
However Donald Trump said that economic sanctions will still continue on North Korea. This was the first such meeting between the US President and North Korea's supreme leader, after which the joint statement issued in which both countries opened their closed doors while ending the mutual conflict which has been continuing since the past seven decades.
Donald Trump said in a press conference that the United States will close 'The War Games', which is being viewed as concession to North Korea. Trump said that military exercises were costly and quite aggressive.
In a joint statement issued by both, the US said "are committed to providing security guarantees." In return, Kim reiterated his commitment to nuclear non-proliferation in the Korean peninsula.
Significantly, before the lunch with the colleagues and big meeting, the leaders of both the countries met with one-to-one for about 40 to 50 minutes privately with their translators.
The two leaders signed a joint statement in which the US said it was committed to giving complete security to North Korea for non-proliferation.
Kim Jong said, "There has been a historic meeting between us. He has decided to leave behind the past. "He further said," The world will see a big change."
Donald Trump looks very optimistic due to the progress made about this negotiation. They said, we are going to solve the world's greatest danger.
