He said that among the issues between the RBI and the government, do not want to go, but every institution has to maintain its autonomy and maintain accountability.

On Thursday, he will hold meetings with the Managing Directors and Chief Executives of Government Banks located in Mumbai. After this, a meeting will be held with the heads of state-run banks, headquartered outside Mumbai. After this, the discussions will also be done with the bank heads of the private sector.
He said that the government and the Reserve Bank have done a lot, but still much more needs to be done. Das said that the issues related to the amendment in the Reserve Bank Act, inflation, liquidity, financial position of government banks and development issues are in their priorities. Along with this, other areas will also be taken care of.
He said that the meeting of the Central Board of Reserve Bank is already scheduled on 14th December and the discussion will be there in that. Information about its will be given. Explaining the inflation in the targeted area, he said that the main objective of the Reserve Bank is to set the target of inflation. Along with this, there is also the prominence to take measures to speed up the development.
