T20 World Cup to be held in India next year, Women's World Cup to be held in 2022

The next year i.e. the 2021 Men's T20 World Cup will be held in India. The International Cricket Council (ICC) gave this information in a press release issued on Friday.

The ICC also informed that the 2021 Women's T20 World Cup will now be held in 2022 due to the Corona crisis.

According to information received from the ICC, the 2021 T20 World Cup will be held in India and the 2022 T20 World Cup will be in Australia. In addition, the women's T20 tournament to be held in New Zealand in 2021 has been postponed until February-March 2022.

The corona epidemic has had an impact on different sports and tournaments around the world, including the Olympics.

The ICC World Cup T20 was scheduled to be held in Australia from October 18 this year but was postponed due to the Corona crisis.

Earlier, the Indian Premier League (IPL tournament) to be held in India was also postponed. But now the 13th edition of the IPL will be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi in the UAE from 19 September to 10 November.

For this, the board has also got the necessary approval from the Government of India.
