Dr. Sudha Bhardwaj, a human rights activist and professor of National Law College, was arrested by the Maharashtra Police at Charmwood Village Society in Faridabad on Tuesday morning. She has been arrested in Maharashtra's Bhima Koregaon violence case. The police has taken Dr. Sudha's two laptops, two mobile phones, one pen drive. Besides, Dr. Sudha's Twitter, Facebook Account and Email password have also been taken. Dr. Sudha was presented in the district court at four o'clock in the evening.

Dr. Sudha said that she has raised voice against the corporate. Perhaps this action is being done to suppress their voice in this case. She told the court that her arrest has been done in the case of Bhima Koregaon. Her name is not in FIR registered in this case and there is no evidence. Still the police raided her house today and arrested her.

They requested the court to give them transit bail so that they can apply for bail in the court of Maharashtra. They have nothing to do with this matter. She said that she has advocated tribal affairs. She said that there have been many fake encounters, she has been a lawyer in fake encounters and has lobbied for the cases of laborers. The government was scared of them in the same sequence. That's why her arrest has been done. She has not done any work against the law so far.

Civil Judge Sacshi Saini's court has reserved the decision by hearing both the sides of the Maharashtra Police and the victim and their counsel. The police and Dr. Sudha's side are awaiting the court's decision.
