According to a report in the English newspaper The Indian Express, BJP President JP Nadda has asked his party leaders not to give the Corona infection a religious color.
JP Nadda's statement comes after reports of an outbreak of corona from a program in Markaz of Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi. According to reports, a quarter of the total cases of corona infection in the country are associated with tablighi Jamaat.
In a meeting held with the party's national officials on Thursday evening, he said that no party leader should make provocative or divisive statements.
An official involved in the meeting told the newspaper that Nadda said in the meeting, "The virus and the disease have affected people of all religions all over the world, no one should make a statement or comment that is provocative. We have to remain united in the fight against the virus.''
