Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has tweeted a tweet amid Indo-Nepal tension. However, there is nothing about Indo-Nepal tension in his tweet.
Qureshi has tweeted about floods and landslides in Nepal.
Qureshi said in his tweet, "We express our condolences to the people of Nepal for the crisis arising out of floods and landslides." We stand with the people of Nepal and we pray for the families who are affected."
Quraishi's tweet has been welcomed by some Nepali Twitter users. A user named Gorkhali Thito has written - Thank you Pakistan.
In the last two days, there has been a fair amount of rain and landslides in Nepal. According to the Nepali newspaper Kathmandu Post, a dozen people have died.
Tension is going on in India and Nepal due to border dispute. Nepal released the new map on 22 May and declared Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani as its share.
Earlier India also updated its map after being made a union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan supported Nepal in the whole matter. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has also targeted India over Nepal.
