Pakistan will soon open Kartarpur border with India for Sikh pilgrims and allow them to travel without visa to Gurudwara Darbar Singh Sahib Kartarpur. Pakistan's Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary has said this. This information was given on Friday in a media report.
Fawad Chaudhary said in an interview that a system is being developed for the Sikhs to go to Gurudwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur. There is hope to move forward in this direction soon. He said, Pakistan will soon open a border in Kartarpur for Sikh pilgrims. This will enable Sikh pilgrims to go to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur without visa. They will come by buying tickets and will go back to the forehead. Trying to create such a system.
The first sign of opening this boundary was given by Pakistani army chief Gen Kamar Javed Bajwa at that time when he met with Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu during the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.
Fawad Chaudhary said, Pakistan's army and government are keen to make peace talks with India but there is no positive sign yet on this issue from India.
The information minister said, after winning the general elections, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave India many positive indications in this context. He invited Indian cricketers to his swearing-in ceremony and in his first address as Prime Minister, he said that he would move two steps ahead in response to one of India's movements. Imran also spoke to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Fawad Chaudhary said that the army also agreed with the decision of Pakistan Government to improve relations and negotiate with India. He said, Imran and General Kamar Javed Bajwa both understand that no country can make progress by being isolated. Both feel that if regional peace is not ensured, then we will be backward in the development race.
