Nowshera : The Pak army said, we have attacked India in our defense

 27 Feb 2019 ( IBTN News Bureau )

Pakistani military spokesman Maj Gen Asif Gafoor said in a press conference that his Air Force has attacked six bases in the Indian administered Kashmir on Wednesday.

He says, "We have done the attack in our defense. The Pakistan army had no choice but to answer."

He said that instead of responding to the way of India, he wanted to respond like this country, which is responsible.

He said, "Today the Pakistan Air Force has decided that they will not take any military targets. At the same time, there is no harm to any human life. Our army locked targets within its boundaries and attacked open spaces on a small scale."

Locking the attack on the supply depot of the Indian Army in the area of Bhimbal Gali, KG Top and Nariyan. But attacking the attack took some distance from him, giving evidence of responsibility.

A spokesman of Pakistan Army said that after the attack by the Pakistani army, two fighter aircraft of Indian Air Force had come near the border, which Pakistani Air Force had fought and killed."

One of these dropped near our border, while one is near the Indian border. But there is news of the fall of another Indian aircraft in India. Pakistan has no hand in it."

"The Indian media is claiming that India has fired Pakistan's F-16 aircraft, but we have not used F-16."

He says, "We want to make peace path. People have the right to live peacefully. Let's get together and talk. India should hear the appeal of the peace of Pakistan and decide."

However, these claims from the Pakistani army have not been confirmed since any independent source.

According to news agencies PTI and Reuters, the Pakistani airplane entered the Indian airspace on Wednesday, the day after the Balakot attack.

According to the agency, Pakistani aircraft have entered the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the news agency PTI, Indian aircraft forced Pakistanis aircraft to escape, after which they fled towards Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

News Agency Reuters says that airports in Pathankot, Srinagar, Jammu, Leh have been closed.

According to the news agency PTI, flights have been stopped from Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Chandigarh and Amritsar airports. However, the director of the airport of Chandigarh told the BBC that the airport is working normally.

Aviation company Air Vistara has informed that "flights from Amritsar, Srinagar, Chandigarh and Jammu have been stopped due to the ban on airspace."

On Tuesday, India had claimed that it has carried out air raids in Balakot, Pakistan, in which several hideouts of Jaish-e-Mohammed were destroyed.

In response, Pakistan had said that Indian aircraft violated their air border. Although Pakistan has denied that there has been any damage to it.

Pakistan had said that the Indian aircraft quickly returned after dismissing some explosives. Later, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan held a meeting with top officials.

After that, the Pakistani army said they would respond to the attack.

In fact, tension increased in both the countries after 40 CRPF personnel killed in a suicide attack in Pulwama. India had said that they would respond to this attack.
