Malaysia's longest-serving prime minister, Mahathir Mohamad, has targeted the European Union countries while supporting Russia. He has accused NATO and the US of provoking Russia.

Mahathir Mohamad, who was hospitalized due to COVID two days ago, has fiercely criticized European countries by tweeting a total of 17 from there.

He wrote, "I don't want to generalize. But in this case I have no option but to generalize. That's because that's usually what happens."

Mahathir Mohamad, considered a critic of Western countries, has called the battle in Ukraine the best example of Europe's strategy.

He said, "I believe that European countries are used to war to kill people. It has been seen for thousands of years that hardly a year has passed when there has been no war between the countries of Europe.''

He further said that European countries glorify wars and celebrate death. He has also accused Europe of making the killers heroes, glorifying them, erecting their statues and holding ceremonies in their memory.

According to Mahathir Mohamad, "They prepare for battle with drills and war games. They are constantly inventing weapons to kill more people. They say that countries must prepare for war to maintain peace.''

Referring to Russia being an ally of Western countries in the Second World War, he has said that millions of Russian people were killed, millions were injured in it. Many cities and villages were completely ruined.
