US President Donald Trump has said that if the dispute between the United States and Iran increases, then Iran will be completely ruined.
Trump said in a tweet, "If Iran wants war, it will be its formal end. Do not threaten the United States!"
Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said in his reply: "Iran will not end with such tactics."
In recent times, the United States has deployed many combat vessels and aircraft in the Gulf.
Although efforts were being made to avoid the possibility of military conflict in this area, but the Trump tweet has seen America's tunes change.
President Trump had said in an interview to Fox News that the US would not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons. At the same time he did not want to dispute with the United States.
He said, "I do not want war because the economy is harmed by the war, the most important is that people are killed in the war."
Iran has also stepped up to reduce concerns over mounting tensions. On Saturday, the Iranian Foreign Minister insisted that he did not want a war.
Mohammed Javed Zafar said to the Iranian media, "War will not happen because neither we want war nor there is confusion about anybody that they can face Iran in this area."
On Sunday, Iran's Far news agency was told that Major General Hossein Salami, commander of the Revolutionary Guard said that Iran does not want war with the United States, but he also said that "America is scared and does not want war."
The BBC's diplomatic case correspondent explains the matter and says that after attempts to reduce the tension with Iran, Trump has now tweeted the threat to Iran and said that any attack against US interests will have dire consequences.
In such a situation, instability between the United States and Iran has increased.
While America is not clear about its policies, Iran's desire is looking forward to taking this matter forward. The activities in this area are also giving wind to these fears. Recently rocket attack near the American Command located in Baghdad is also a similar activity.
Which demonstrates that there are elements on the ground that are proving the urge to provoke this tension and avoid the American administration's war.
On Sunday, the Iraqi army said that a rocket was blown in the green zone of Baghdad's stronghold, this area has government buildings and foreign embassies. It allegedly collided with a building near the US Embassy. There was no casualties in it and it is not yet clear who was behind the attack.
The State Department spokesman, however, said, "If any attack is done to Iran and its proxy militaries, then America will blame Iran."
The threat given by Trump on Twitter came only after the news of the rocket attack.
In recent times, the US has deployed USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier in this area and has reportedly planned to send 120,000 troops to the Middle East.
Diplomatic personnel have been ordered to leave Iraq, and the US military has increased the level of danger in the area.
Dutch and German forces have said that they have canceled military training in this area.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia accused a drone attack on a pipeline on Tehran on Friday. It alleged that the rebels in Yemen had strike on Iran's orders.
This new controversy began when Iran suspended its commitments under the 2015 International Nuclear Agreement. Along with this, it has threatened to resume the production of uranium, which is used to make reactor fuels and nuclear weapons.
Under the 2015 agreement, the sanctions imposed on Iran were lifted on the condition that they completely stop developing nuclear weapons, but the United States has separated itself from the deal last year. President Trump said that Iran is violating the agreement and with this, the United States banned Iran.
Tehran has reportedly placed missiles on boats in the Gulf, and American investigators believe that Iran has damaged four tankers from the coast of the United Arab Emirates. This claim has been denied by Iran.
