Inter-State Passenger Transport can be started with mutual consent of both the states

In the fourth phase of lockdown in India, passenger transport between two states will be able to run only after mutual consent. In the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been said that passenger transport or buses depend only on the consent of two states.

The central government in India has announced to extend the lockdown across the country by 31 May to prevent the spread of corona virus infection. This will be the fourth phase of the lockdown.

Apart from this, the district administration will decide the area of ​​Red, Orange, Containment and Buffer zone. That is, in a way it will be the responsibility of the state.

In addition, only necessary activities will be allowed in the Containment Zone. People from these zones will not be allowed to move in and out except those engaged in essential services.

All states and union territories have been asked to allow health services workers to move in without any restriction.

Trains and empty trucks carrying all types of goods have been allowed to go from one state to another.
