Indian cricket team defeated hosts South Africa by nine wickets in the second ODI on Sunday (February 4) on Super Sport Park ground. Earlier, winning the toss, the Indian team managed to score a minimum score of 118 in the host team by Yujwendra Chahal (22/5) and Kuldeep Yadav (20/3). Chasing a modest target, India achieved the target by losing one wicket in 20.3 overs.
Chasing target, Team India lost Rohit Sharma (15) at 26 runs but captain Virat Kohli (46) and Shikhar Dhawan (51) gave the team victory without being unbeaten.
With this, India has achieved a 2-0 lead in the six-match series. In the first match played in Durban, India defeated the host team by six wickets.
