Pakistan's Election Commission has issued a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of opposition leader Imran Khan. The Election Commission has taken this action about allegations of prejudice on it by the former cricketer.
According to the news of Geo News, the five-member bench headed by the Chief Election Commissioner issued a non-bailable warrant against the 64-year-old Imran Khan, and ordered them to appear for the hearing on October 26.
Election Commission can issue warrants in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Tehreek-e-Insaf party, led by Imran Khan, said that it will challenge the verdict in the High Court.
Earlier on September 14, Pakistan's Election Commission issued a bailable warrant against Imran Khan to ensure the presence of Imran Khan in the case.
However, his party had approached the Islamabad High Court on September 20, which rejected bailable warrant.
Thus, the problems of Imran are not taking the name of being reduced.
It is noteworthy that few days ago Pakistan's chief political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ayesha Gulalai had resigned to make serious allegations against party chief Imran Khan.
Ayesha told Imran Khan a characterless saying that he would send obscene messages to her and other women of the party. While resigning, Ayesha also said, "My respect means more to me and I can not compromise with my favors and innocence."
Ayesha had also made serious allegations against PTI along with Imran Khan. Ayesha had said in a conversation with the Pakistani daily Dawn that there is no respect for women workers in PTI and innocent women can not work in Imran Khan's party.
However, PTI leader Shireen Mazari dismissed the allegations leveled by Ayesha, saying that the party did not give her ticket in the election, so she is making such allegations.
Mazari had said that Imran Khan respected all the women.
