India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Sunday that if India talks to Pakistan, then it will only be on 'Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK)'.
Rajnath Singh said this while launching an election rally in Panchkula, Haryana. He has also tweeted the defense minister said in the rally.
The statement of the Foreign Minister of Pakistan has also come after the statement of Rajnath Singh. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has released the statement of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi stating that they have seen today's statement given by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. And it shows that India is stuck in a difficult situation because it has taken a one-sided decision, putting the peace and security of the region at risk.
"He condemns that India has held the entire public in Jammu and Kashmir for two weeks and the humanitarian crisis has been deepening there. The incident has also been reported by international human rights organizations and international media. The world community including the UN Security has also taken cognizance of this situation.
At the same time, Qureshi has clarified Pakistan's position on Jammu and Kashmir, saying that it follows the United Nations Charter Principle and international law and the decision of Jammu and Kashmir dispute will be only by international law, Security Council resolution and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
