Rohit Tilak which is great grandson of Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a woman has accused him for rape.

It is also alleged that Rohit Tilak had also pressurized the woman to do unnatural sex. A case was registered against Rohit on Monday (July 17th).

Rohit is Freedom Fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak's great grandson. His father's name was Jayantrao Tilak. He was also senior leader of the Congress and was also elected MP.

Police said that the accusatory woman is 40 years old. The woman wrote in the complaint that she knew Rohit about two years ago. The woman told the police that Rohit raped her many times by giving a bluff to her.

Police have imposed rape, unnatural sex, intentionally harm. Rohit had contested Lok Sabha elections from Kesaba Peth seat of Maharashtra in 2014, but he was defeated by BJP's Girish Babat.
