The central government in India has issued guidelines for lockdown five (from June 1 to June 30). This is called unlock 1 instead of lockdown 5.
Under this, new guidelines have been issued to open all activities in a phased manner. However, all activities will be completely banned from 9 am to 5 am.
These activities will be opened outside the Containment Zone.
The Government of India has decided to extend the lockdown period by one month (June 1 to June 30, 2020). Under this, everything will be opened in a phased manner in areas outside the cantonment zone during the next one month.
In the first phase, religious places and centers of worship, hotels, restaurants, areas of hospitality and shopping malls will be opened from June 8. For this, the government will issue separate guidelines. The government is calling it unlock phase one.
In the second phase, schools, colleges, educational institutions, training centers, coaching centers will be allowed to open in July after consultation with the governments of the state and union territories.
In the third phase, the dates of opening of international air travel, metro services, cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools and amusement parks etc. will be announced after analysis of the conditions.
District administrations will determine the Containment Zone keeping in mind the Central Government guidelines.
Only essential services will be allowed to run in the Containment Zone.
State governments and union territories will be able to determine the buffer zone outside the container zone.
At the same time, there will be no restriction on the movement of people within the states and between the two states. No e-pass will be required.
However, if a province or district administration wants to stop the movement of people, then it can be done after full publicity of the order. Information related process will also be given to the people.
More than fifty people will not be allowed to go to weddings like lockdown from June 1 to June 30.
During this time employees have been asked to work from home as far as possible.
It will be mandatory to apply face masks in public places, during traffic and at the workplace.
People have to maintain a distance of two yards from each other.
Shopkeepers must take care of distance between customers and no more than five customers will be allowed inside the shop at a time.
Spitting in public places can lead to fines and punishment. Also, consumption of paan, gutkha, liquor etc. will be banned in public places.
At the same time, there will be complete lockdown in the Containment Zone till June 30.
