Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal ends strike

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ended the strike in the office of LG Anil Baijal. Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers are giving a dharna in the office of Lt Governor Anil Baijal from the evening of 11th June in support of their demands. Their demands included giving directions to the IAS officers to end their strike and action against those who stopped working.

According to the office of the Lieutenant Governor, the Delhi Lieutenant has written a letter to Kejriwal asking them to look into the concerns of the two sides immediately through the talks.

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendra Jain, who were involved in the strike, got a leave from LNJP Hospital today. Both the ministers were sitting on fast at the Deputy Governor's Office and after bad health, they were admitted to the hospital.

After increasing the level of ketone in urine and decreasing blood glucose levels, Sisodia was taken to LNJP Hospital at about three o'clock yesterday afternoon. However, after Jain's health was spoiled, he was admitted to LNJP hospital on Sunday night.

IAS officers are awaiting formal invitation to the meeting in the secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had requested the meeting with the government and bureaucrats from the Lt Governor Anil Baijal, after which the statement came from the IAS officials.

The IAS AGMUT organization said that after receiving the Chief Minister's assurance to ensure security and dignity of the bureaucrats, the officials are waiting for a formal message for the meeting. However, sources said Baijal will not hold the meeting because LG office already asking the Aam Aadami Party government to meet with officials.

In Delhi, ruling Aam Aadmi Party accused Deputy Governor Anil Baijal of working at the behest of the BJP-led government of the Center.
