Nearly one out of every four people living in India's capital, Delhi, has been exposed to a corona virus infection. This thing came to light when antibodies tests were carried out in Delhi taking samples of many people.

A sample of 21,387 people were taken for this government survey. Whose investigation revealed that 23.48% of these contained antibodies to Covid-19.

This survey shows that the spread of infection is more than the number of cases being confirmed in the capital.

So far 123,747 cases of infection have been reported in Delhi, which is less than 1% of one crore 98 lakh population here.

According to the survey, 23.48% of the people getting antibodies means that there will be 46 lakh fifty thousand cases of infection in the capital.

The infection cases in Delhi will be 46 lakh fifty thousand, it has been estimated only on the basis of a very small sample of the survey. How close this estimate is to the truth is difficult to say.

According to the government press release released about this survey, many people are without symptoms.

It also states that the figure of 23.48% can also be reduced, because Delhi has many densely populated areas. But it also states that "a large part of the population is still at risk" and security measures must be strictly followed.

Experts say that this first study of this kind is important because it will help the administration to understand the spread of infection and in a better way.

To bring out the truth, it is necessary that 100 per cent of the people living in Delhi should be tested. Then the exact number of corona infected people will be known in Delhi. Otherwise, the estimate of such survey will prove to be airborne.
