Confirmation of Indian Foreign Ministry: India lost a MiG-21, a pilot is missing

Indian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that one MiG-21 of India has also been damaged and a pilot is missing.

Indian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ravish Kumar read with a written statement to the journalists along with Air Vice Marshal RG Kapoor.

He said, "Pakistan tried to target Indian military bases, our army was ready, so their efforts were foiled."

"MiG-21 Bison in the Ariel Engagement dropped Pakistani aircraft, Ground Forces saw their falling plane in Pakistani side."

He said, "Unfortunately, our MiG aircraft fell in this Ariel Engagement, and the pilot is 'missing in action', Pakistan has claimed to be in the custody of our pilot and we are investigating this claim."

Raviish Kumar refused to answer the questions of journalists, Air Vice Marshal Kapoor did not say anything to the reporters.

Earlier, the Pakistani army claimed to have arrested two Indian pilots. However, India has said the disappearance of a pilot.The Pakistani army released a video. The Pak army claimed that this video belongs to an Indian pilot who has been arrested within the Pakistani border.

In the video, the person wearing the uniform of the Indian Air Force is blindfolded. This person is telling his name as Abhinandan himself as a Wing Commander.

His name is written in English in uniform of this person and this person is also telling his service number.

In this video, this person is asking the question whether he is in the possession of the Pakistan army?

The Pakistani government's official Twitter account has claimed the arrest of two pilots and their photographs have also been given.

Pakistani military spokesman has said that another Indian pilot should be admitted to Central Military Hospital.

What has happened so far

- On Tuesday, India had claimed to have demolished the bases of extremist organizations in the Balakot of Pakistan by an air strike. Pakistan, while dismissing the claims of India, said that Indian aircraft violated Pakistani airspace. After this there was a tense statement in both the countries and Pakistan said that they will answer.

- A news about the crash of a chopper of Indian Air Force in Budgam, Jammu, around 10 pm on Wednesday, came. Two people were killed in this crash.

- 12 o'clock Pakistani army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted, "On Wednesday morning, two aircraft of Indian Air Force crossed the Line of Control and Pakistan killed both of them in retaliation. One plane fell into Pakistan's Kashmir and one in Kashmir in India. Two Indian pilots have been arrested.

- Major General Ghafoor later put up a press conference and kept his claims in detail. Ghafoor said, "There was no choice but to give a reply to the Pakistani army on what India had claimed on Tuesday. But we did not have to adopt the way India was adopted. We killed Indian aircrafts today in self-defense."

- The Government of Pakistan released a video from its official Twitter handle. This video has claimed that these arrestees are Indian pilots.

- There is no official reaction from the Government of India on these claims of Pakistan. The Indian media began to say on the basis of the sources that India has denied Pakistan's claims.
