The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel has ended. Israel has said that fighting has resumed.

The Israeli Army wrote on X- "Hamas has started firing on Israel, this is a violation of the ceasefire agreement."

It was hoped that the ceasefire could proceed. America, Qatar and Egypt were continuously mediating it but this deal could not progress further.

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel was announced on Friday, 24 November 2023. In this seven-day agreement, Hamas has released 110 Israeli hostages by Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Earlier, the US Secretary of State had warned that Israel would have to take steps to ensure the safety of civilians in Gaza before resuming its military operations.

Antony Blinken said that the damage done in the north of Gaza should not be repeated in the south. He also stressed the continuation of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
