America tests cruise missile

The US has reported that it has recently successfully test-fired a new medium-range cruise missile.
This is the first such step by the US after coming out of the INF treaty with Russia.
The two countries signed the INF Treaty three decades ago to make Europe a nuclear weapon free.
The treaty prohibited the testing and production of such weapons that could carry nuclear weapons.
Analysts say that this will start a new arms race between the US and Russia.
