Talks between the Taliban and Afghan leaders comprised of the government, opposition and civil society heads have ended with a promise to reduce civilian casualties in Afghanistan to zero.
For once, all parties agreed to reduce the suffering of the Afghan people.
Delegates at the talks greeted the news with joy, although the joint communique was not legally binding.
